Through active cooperation between institutes and companies, the competence centre has the aim of supporting and promoting the development and application of marketable products, production processes and services in the field of renewable raw materials including bioenergy within Niedersachsen.

The objective of the initiative is to provide the companies in Bremen and Bremerhaven with appropriate instruments to meet the challenges of sustainable economic development. The initiative aims to show specific options for future viability and competitiveness through ecologically oriented action on the part of the business community.
