The day-to-day activities of many business people increasingly involve the use of mobile telephones and smartphones. The mobile use of Internet-based services is also gaining increasing momentum.

In an informative briefing to be held on 30.11.2010, the Wilhelmshaven Economic Development Company WFG intends to present the diverse possibilities of application in the field of mobile e-business that also exist for smaller regional enterprises. With the help of practical examples, the host speaker Dr. Liane Haak, an information management specialist from the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, will be providing an overview of the developments, trends and opportunities in e- and m-business as well as informing participants about mobile operating system options and issues relating to security.
