German Entrepreneurship Week will open in the region with a two-day business start-up seminar

September 30, 2011

Registration possible straight away for the “StartUp” weekend on 12th and 13th November 2011.

The economic development and business promotion companies of the Districts of Wittmund and Friesland (Frisia) and the City of Wilhelmshaven are hosting a business start-up weekend in the Bürgerhaus (community centre) in Heidmühle/Schortens under the title “StartUp”. The event is being staged shortly before the start of the “German Entrepreneurship Week” (“Gründerwoche Deutschland”) that will take place in mid-November. The seminar will offer extensive information about preparing to start up one's own business. The speakers are specialists in brainstorming, tax, competition and employment law, social insurance, banking, marketing, job management and business promotion. For instance, participants will be informed about the most important state funding programmes relating to investments, consulting and personnel recruitment and will learn about effectively developing a business idea and drawing up a business plan.

One advantage of the seminar is that all those taking part find themselves straight away embedded in a network of like-minded people and potential partners and can exploit this network for the rest of their start-up phase or for the period after setting up their enterprise.

The seminar costs EUR 95 and EUR 40 for students. The price includes not only all seminar documentation but also covers beverages and lunch on both days.

Those interested are asked to register with Wirtschaftsförderkreis Harlingerland e.V., Osterstraße 1, 29409 Wittmund by 28.10.2011.
