The portal " Economy in the Ammerland" offers news from the region as well as information about financial aid programmes, business start-ups, locations and companies.

Profiles of the different locations contain detailled structural data about the population, infrastructure and the economy. Furthermore it is possible to search for industrial sites and industrial real estate either for the whole municipality or for single communities.

This "community-oriented" search is also offered by the menu item "Companies of the Ammerland" and can be specified through key words, branches or the size of the company.

The high quality of this information service could have been realised very fast and without large additional expenses since the necessary data were extracted from RegIS Online and KomSIS, the two online information systems that have been developed by regio gmbh. The portal for the Ammerland has been integrated as a partial regional version into the whole information system. Only the structure of services needed to be converted.
