Organza network launched throughout Europe

April 19, 2010

13 organisations have joined forces to promote the creative industries.

The Bremen Economic Development Company WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH is a member of a newly established Europe-wide network. Under the name of "Organza", 13 European institutions and organisations have come together to investigate over the next three years the necessary conditions for the implementation of design and other activities provided by the creative industry sector. For instance, the network aims to facilitate a more precise identification of the driving forces for the creation of more innovative and future-Oriented cities and enable the initiation of successful promotion and funding measures as a result. With offers and facilities such as the Wilhelm Wagenfeld House, the coaching programme "Ideenlotsen" ("Pilots of Ideas") or the Klub Dialog, a platform for exchange and events within the creative and design community, it has been possible to get a number of things moving in Bremen over the last few years. As well as from Bremen, organisations are taking part in the project from Arnhem (Holland), Lasi (Rumania), Presov and Kosice (the Slovak Republic), Nottingham (England), Flanders (Belgium), Treviso and Varese (Italy), and Navarra (Spain). Further information will be available soon at the website www.organzanetwork.eu.
