German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports scientific and technological cooperations

With its strategy towards the internationalisation of science and research, the German federal government is giving financial support to bilateral collaboration with India in the fields of science and engineering. The programme's objective is to stimulate new cooperations, for example by facilitating the initiation and preparation of joint projects. These projects can lie in areas such as the material sciences, environmental or energy research, production technology, or the life sciences. Companies or institutions that could come into question for such funding can find detailed information at http://www.bmbf.de/foerderungen/15091.php.

Interested parties can obtain advice and assistance in making their applications from Bremen's economic development company WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH within the framework of "initiative umwelt unternehmen" ("initiative environment business"). The grant applications must be submitted to the International Bureau of the BMBF in Bonn by October 31st, 2010 at the latest.
