North Germany's managers off to a flying start again

May 6, 2013

The independent Cross Mentoring programme for North Germany's executives takes off again for the 17th time at the end of June 2013

Cross Mentoring is a personnel development programme for less experienced managers and the next generation of executives aged between 25 and 50 years. Since 2006, more than 100 companies and over 300 executives from business and local government have taken part. Across all branches of industry, experienced executives from other companies make themselves available and offer their services as mentors and sparring partners. That supports and relieves young professionals, trainee executives and up-and-coming business leaders in their everyday management activities. Specialist professionals, too, who have taken on leadership responsibilities due to the shortage of skilled employees, can also profit from Cross Mentoring. Each course lasts for one year. Participants have to invest 50 hours of their time in face-to-face discussions and workshops and companies pay EUR 2,350 for each junior employee. The 17th programme starts at the end of June 2013. Advance briefings are necessary and are available throughout the Northwest of Germany.
