Under the umbrella brand "Stark am Strom", the City of Bremerhaven, the surrounding municipalities in Niedersachsen, the District of Cuxhaven, the City of Cuxhaven, the City of Nordenham and the District of Wesermarsch are collaborating in the promotion and marketing of the regional economy.

The new joint website also includes two map-based presentations of the industrial and business sites and commercial properties on offer. The modern, Google Maps-based interactive maps quickly lead business location-seekers and investors to the available sites around the River Weser estuary.
The contents of altogether 60 vacant commercial sites are transferred directly from the system of the business location portal for Niedersachsen www.komsis.de. Non-municipal providers of commercial real estate can also place advertisements free of charge on the KomSIS website. When doing so, brokers and banks are pleased to take advantage of the available electronic interface capabilities to market their sites and properties using partner websites such as "Stark am Strom".
