The nanosciences and nanotechnologies, materials and innovative production technologies are key areas within the EU's 7th Research Framework Programme (FP7) and the German government's High-Tech Strategy (HTS). Accordingly, the funding resources available for new developments in this domain are correspondingly large.

We are therefore inviting you to inform yourselves about the funding options that exist. A representative from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) will be reporting about the entire spectrum of the two programmes. You will also receive valuable tips about making your application.
The event is being staged on Thursday, 3rd September 2009 from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. in the engineering research institute BIBA, Hochschulring 20, 28359 Bremen.
