"zukunftsenergien nordwest" enters second round
August 3, 2010
4,000 visitors, 74 satisfied exhibitors, a fully booked exhibition hall, excursions to wind power,
solar energy and biogas plants, enthusiastic fairgoers who were able to build up contacts to firms
in the renewable energy sector: those are the results of the first job and education fair
"zukunftsenergien nordwest" ("Future Energies North-West") that took place at the beginning of
March 2010 in Oldenburg's EWE ARENA. From March 11th to 12th, 2011, North-West Germany's job,
education and training fair in the field of renewable energy sources is going into its second round
– this time in the Messe Centrum Bremen with double the exhibition space: companies from the fields
of renewable energy and energy efficiency, providers of initial and further training for the jobs
of the future, and industry-related research institutes and networks will be presenting themselves
there on an area covering over 2,500 square metres. Job-seekers, interested newcomers from other
professions, and national and international students and graduates will then have the chance to get
to know potential employers personally and inform themselves about industry-specific qualification
opportunities, training perspectives and career chances. A line-up of supporting events comprising
expert talks and lectures as well as trips to facilities and firms in the region will round off the
programme. The registration deadline for exhibitors at this next fair in Bremen is October 29th,
2010. Further information and registration documents can be obtained through Ms Wermke from
