“Auditory Valley”, the only research and development network of its kind, has been bringing experts on hearing together for years. Their stated mission is “Hearing for all! – All people, all situations, all sectors.”
Over 250 scientists in basic and application research work at the Auditory Valley, which includes two special research departments, an international graduate college, a Center of Excellence funded by the Federal Ministry of Research and Technology, and several research facilities. This well-established infrastructure promotes fast, target-orientated and integrated development and innovation in hearing.

Automotive Kompetenzverbund Osnabrück

The Automotive Competence Alliance in the Osnabrück Economic Area (Automotive Kompetenzverbund Osnabrück) is a legally dependent cooperation offer from the two business development agencies of the City and District of Osnabrück, WFO Wirtschaftsförderung Osnabrück GmbH and WIGOS Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Osnabrücker Land mbH. The alliance offers a platform for cooperation and innovation for the automotive industry in the region. In a joint alliance of the participating companies, projects are initiated and realised whose implementation lies within the common interest of the alliance partners.

Automotive Northwest

The Cluster Automotive Nordwest is the platform of the automotive industry and its partners in the North West of Germany. With production plants of Daimler AG in Bremen, Volkswagen in Emden and many supplier companies with around 90,000 employees, the automotive sector is one of the most important industries in the region. The Cluster has made its mission to raise awareness of the region as an automotive center of excellence and to foster cooperation and information exchange between the members of the network.

Bremen enjoys trans-regional importance in the European aviation industry and together with Hamburg commands a leading role in Germany. In addition to Airbus, Bremen has a multitude of excellent SMEs and scientific institutions. AVIABELT Bremen e.V. particularly supports its members in the development of expertise and in the penetration and development of new markets.

Competence Centre for Energy

The competence centre supports research, teaching and practice in the wider field of "energy". The aim is to develop and promote innovative technological solutions and the corresponding infrastructure. The skills and competencies of actors from science, industry, public institutions and organisations are bundled together to strengthen entrepreneurial innovation and competitiveness. The competence centre is a specific collaboration between "Science to Business GmbH - Hochschule Osnabrück" and "Stadtwerke Osnabrück AG".

Competence Centre for Hearing Aid Systems

Through HörTech, private-sector companies and institutions involved in the process of research and development as well as universities and research institutes can realise projects for the (further) development of hearing-aid system technology and associated products alone or in joint endeavours in pre-competitive cooperation. In addition, HörTech develops and markets products that arise from the projects or are derived from the project results or other research activities.

LOGIS.NET aims to optimise logistics services in the region and achieve a more effective utilisation of existing resources.

cre8 oldenburg is the network for the creative industry in and around Oldenburg. Creative companies, entrepreneurs and service providers in the fields of design, software, advertising, text, illustration, photography, film, music, art, architecture and creative management consulting are brought together under the umbrella of the network.

The creative industry is a driver of innovation in other sectors; accordingly, this cooperation between traditional and creative industries is one of the focal points of the networking activities. cre8 oldenburg works closely with the Oldenburg business development department.

E-Health Niedersachsen

A state-level initiative since 2006 to develop business potential at the interfaces of IT, medicine and the healthcare industry, for example telemedicine or electronic health records for patients. The goal is to further collaboration with decision-makers from the healthcare system and the health industry.
